Lake Comedero Information

"Comedero Bass Club" is located in the small village of Jicopa which is approximately 10 minutes (2 miles) from Lake Comedero. The camp consist of four houses with four bedrooms and two bathrooms per house. Each house is designed to accommodate two people per room. Also, each house is equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. Purified bottle water is furnished in each house for drinking and brushing teeth as well as purified cubed ice for your drinks.

Mazatlan is a beautiful seaside resort located on Mexico's west coast. Ron Speed's Adventures, Inc. can arrange various activities for your group while in Mazatlan. Offshore fishing for marlin and sailfish as well as city and country tours are available. You will not find a better place in the world that offers great bass fishing and a first class beach resort in the same trip. We encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities that Lake Comedero and Mazatlan have to offer.

Effective immediately each angler will be allowed 3 fish per day for shore lunch. No fish in excess of 3 lbs. will be taken from the lake. No female bass evident with eggs will be taken out of the lake. MALE BASS ONLY! Please take scales and measuring tape in your boat to verify weights for big fish pots and replica mounts. Bring tape measure to record the length and girth of your trophy. Replicas of trophy bass are recommended.

All Ron Speed's Adventures, Inc. groups are met at the Mazatlan airport by a uniformed representative and they personally assist each group with their departure from Mazatlan to the U.S.A.
Camp vans do not transport clients because it is illegal in Mexico and the fishing camps are not in the transport business. WE want only full time professional drivers transporting our clients on the highways of Mexico. No exceptions! All chauffeurs are professional bilingual drivers with perfect safety records and licensed to legally transport tourist for hire. Each vehicle carries the legal amounts of passenger insurance to comply with the laws of Mexico. Cheap transport in foreign countries usually means trouble. Our clients' safety comes first on all of our outdoor excursions.

Clients arriving commercial to Mazatlan will have a 3 hour ride to Comedero, transported by licensed chauffeurs, and the cost will be $125 per person round trip. All clients must pay the chauffeurs direct for the ground transportation cost.

There are numerous commercial flights into Mazatlan daily. Your local travel agent can ticket you into Mazatlan or we will be happy to take care of your air transport for you from anywhere in the USA. Many times, we may be able to save you money by selecting the better and less expensive routes into Mazatlan. Also from time to time, there are charter flights available from Dallas or Houston with some incredible round trip prices. Call our Texas office and our staff will tell you what is available. All clients fishing Lake Comedero must arrive Mazatlan no later than 3:30 PM on arrival day.
